Once an agreement has been reached for one Rezgo account to resell another account’s inventory, you can set up one as a reseller and the other as an inventory provider.

Inventory providers have inventory—tours, activities or experiences—that customers can book. Resellers can sell that inventory at an optional markup, with the bookings going back to the provider. A single Rezgo account can be a provider for some companies, a reseller for others, neither, or both.

To get a reseller relationship started, the inventory provider needs to initiate a connection. The reseller will need to provide a unique code from their account to complete that process.

Next, the inventory provider creates a price sheet that includes all the inventory the reseller has access to, the availability the reseller can use, and the cost price for the inventory before markup.

Once that’s created and activated, the reseller can import that inventory into their own account. Once they’re happy with the state of the inventory they’ve imported, they can start taking bookings. Those bookings will be passed back to the inventory provider. Pricing, availability and required custom forms will be pulled in live from the provider at the time of booking, and the reseller can update options at any time to pull in other changes from the provider.

While the inventory provider and reseller can arrange payments however they’d like, Rezgo’s reconciliation system can be used to reconcile payouts or amounts owing between the two accounts and send invoices. Payment requests can be used to easily send money between accounts.

And if the reseller relationship comes to an end, the inventory provider or reseller can disconnect the link between their inventory.

If you’re interested in using the Rezgo reseller system, please familiarize yourself with the articles linked above, which contain important details for resellers and inventory providers.
