Use Codes in Rezgo to Track Ads & Promotions

Do you run Google Adwords or other advertising for your tours & activities?  Are you trying to figure out how to best track those sales and determine how successful your advertising is?

We have now extended the promotional code capabilities of Rezgo to support codes in URLs.  This means that you can now embed a promotional code directly into a URL for a tour and track that code all the way to the booking complete phase.  The benefit of this feature is that it doesn’t require the code to be created in rules, which means you can attach any code you wish to the product.

Great for Google Adwords Tracking

Let’s say you are creating a Google Adwords campaign for your Crocodile Cage Diving Adventure and you want to track all the bookings that come from Google.  All you have to do, when you create the link in Google is make sure that you add the promo code to the end of the URL, like this:

When the visitor is re-directed to your Crocodile Cage Diving tour, they will see the following:


This promotional code will then passed through to the booking and will appear on the customer’s booking page like this:


Once the booking is added to the system, you will have to ability to search and sort your bookings based on your promotional codes so you can compare your booking results directly with your Google analytics and your Google Adwords stats.
