Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice

If you believe that content available publicly on a Rezgo member account (as defined in the Rezgo Terms of Service) infringes your copyrights, please notify us by providing a notice (“Infringement Notice”) containing the information outlined below. If Rezgo takes action in response to the Infringement Notice, we will make a good faith effort to contact the Rezgo member by means of the most recent email address on file with Rezgo.

Please note that your notice will be sent to the Rezgo member in question.

Please be advised that you will be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent that a product or activity is infringing your copyrights. Thus, if you are not sure content located on or linked-to by the Rezgo member account infringes your copyright, you should consider first contacting an attorney.

Please follow these steps to file a notice:

  1. Verify that the content in question is hosted by Rezgo. We have no control over Rezgo member websites that are not hosted by Rezgo.
  2. Please contact the appropriate web host with complaints. We only host accounts that have “” in their URL, that say “powered by Rezgo” on the site, or that are using the Rezgo XML API to display content hosted by Rezgo on their website.  Note that only pages that are generated using Rezgo hosted content apply.
  3. Contact the Rezgo member directly. Go to the Rezgo member website in question and leave an email request with your complaint to see if the matter can be resolved directly between you and the Rezgo member.  The Rezgo member’s email address is also available on their Rezgo powered contact page.
  4. Send your complaint to us. If the issue cannot be resolved directly with the Rezgo member, send your complaint to us via fax to (604) 210-4355.

You must include the following:

  1. A physical signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. An identification of the copyright claimed to have been infringed;
  3. A description of the nature and exact location of the content that you claim to infringe your copyright, in sufficient detail to permit Rezgo to find and positively identify that content; for example we require a link to the specific detail page (not just the name of the Rezgo member) that contains the content and a description of which specific portion of the details – an image, a link, the text, etc – your complaint refers to.  If there are multiple infringements, each one must be detailed in the notice.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address; and
  5. A statement by you: (a) that you believe in good faith that the use of the content that you claim to infringe your copyright is not authorized by law, or by the copyright owner or such owner’s agent; (b) that all of the information contained in your Infringement Notice is accurate, and (c) under penalty of perjury, that you are either the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

The following is a sample notice that can be sent to Rezgo.
