How DMOs can partner with Rezgo
At the Online Revealed Conference in Calgary in May, I had an opportunity to meet with many marketing and communications managers and directors from many Destination marketing organizations (DMOs) from across Canada. I had a chance to show, many for the first time, Rezgo in action and talk about the philosophy behind the system and what it can do for DMOs. Many of the people I spoke to expressed their needs from a technology standpoint. Here is a brief run down of some of the priorities that were expressed to me: 1. Most DMOs (but not all) are not interested in being reservation providers.... Read more »
Re: 10 questions to ask a tour operator reservation system supplier
Since we are all about transparency here at Rezgo, I thought I would take a moment to answer the “10 questions to ask a tour operator reservation system supplier” that Alex Bainbridge asks in his post on the Travel Technology Show 2008 blog. In fact, most of the features added during and after our Beta period from March 2006 to June 2007 were a direct result of customer requests. We add the request... Read more »

Automated Supplier Notification
Do you need to let a specific supplier know when a booking has been made for a specific tour or activity. Now you can add the supplier’s email to the details for a tour in the administration system. When a booking is made for that tour, the supplier will be notified via email that a booking has been made. This is particularly useful if you re-sell tours or activities for third party suppliers or supplier partners. Read More →
New support for required passenger types
You can now set what passenger types are required for an activity or trip. For example, if you offer adult, senior, and child pricing, you can now specify that there must be at least one of either an adult or a senior to book. This eliminates the possibility that someone can book only child pricing for an activity where a supervising adult is required. Read More →

Paypal is an excellent option for Travel Suppliers
For many travel suppliers, getting a merchant account that allows you to accept payments online can be difficult and expensive. Because of the nature of travel purchases (ie. large ticket items that are not delivered until later), the industry has been plagued with fraud. Luckily, there is another option that is much lower cost and very easy to integrate (especially into Rezgo.com). Paypal... Read more »
