Selling Tours on Rezgo with Group Pricing

2009-11-09

Do you offer tours or activities with tiered pricing?  For example, do offer a discount per person if more people book at the same time?  Good news! Rezgo now supports the ability for you to create pricing rules that support tiered pricing.  When creating a pricing rule you now have the option of choosing a “Min” and “Max” number of people that book in order for the pricing rule to be triggered.  When a customer enters a number of passengers (or tickets) into the booking form, the booking confirmation page will show the tiered pricing that you set-up in the rule. Important... Read more »

Copying Custom Questions Across Multiple Options

2009-11-04

One of the most flexible features of the Rezgo Tour Operator Software is the ability for each option in a tour to have its own set of custom questions.  This allows you as a tour or activity operator to be able to add non-inventory add-ons to each option as well as ask common questions.  The drawback, until now, is that you would need to add the questions to each option.  If you had a lot of options, this could be quite time consuming.  Now you can copy a pre-defined list of common custom questions across ALL your options with just a few clicks. That means that if you have a set of questions... Read more »

Track Your Sales with Google E-Commerce Code

2009-10-09

We have significantly simplified the way that Rezgo works with the Google Analytics e-Commerce conversion code.  The new feature only requires you to enter your Google Analytics account code into one field.  The rest of the conversion tracking code is dynamically generated by Rezgo and displayed on your customer receipt after the booking has been successfully submitted.  The new conversion code supports the following information (Rezgo Value = Google Tracking Value): Booking Transaction Number = Order ID Blank = Affiliation Total Booking Value = Total Tax Amount = Tax Shipping Amount = Shipping Billing... Read more »

2009-10-07

Rezgo now supports PayPal Website Payment Pro, which means you can now accept credit cards directly on your website instead of having to direct customers to the Paypal site to complete payment.  The PayPal Website Payment Pro also provides you with a Virtual Terminal so you can process credit card payments manually (i.e. phone, fax, or email).  By integrating Website Payment Pro, suppliers now have the ability to automatically charge customer credit cards for both deposits and incremental payments using the back-end processing feature. Given the challenges that many travel related businesses... Read more »

Use Codes in Rezgo to Track Ads & Promotions

2009-10-06

Do you run Google Adwords or other advertising for your tours & activities?  Are you trying to figure out how to best track those sales and determine how successful your advertising is? We have now extended the promotional code capabilities of Rezgo to support codes in URLs.  This means that you can now embed a promotional code directly into a URL for a tour and track that code all the way to the booking complete phase.  The benefit of this feature is that it doesn’t require the code to be created in rules, which means you can attach any code you wish to the product. Great for Google... Read more »

Rezgo Point of Sale Supports Back-Office Processing

2009-10-05

If you take deposits for your tour or activity bookings/reservations and are using a credit card payment gateway (for example Chase Paymentech or Authorize.net), you can now process the outstanding balance on bookings directly through your gateway.  Traditionally, Rezgo would handle the processing of the deposit through the payment gateway, but the outstanding balance would have to be handled manually through a virtual terminal.  Now, however, you can processing the remaining or partial payment directly through your payment gateway.  You can also choose whether you want to charge the credit... Read more »

We just pushed out a Rezgo hot fix today that features one bug fix and three cool new features.  The bug is related to a problem with the geo-tagging of tours.  The bug wouldn’t allow you add a geo-tag to the tour that you were either adding or editing.  This bug is now fixed and you should no longer have a problem add geo-tags. The three new features include: Support for Paypal Web Payments Pro.  This is a new gateway integration and means that Paypal users in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. can now take advantage of Paypals virtual terminal and gateway features to accept credit card... Read more »
