What is Rezgo?
Rezgo provides you with an online booking system that lets you sell your tours and activities through the Internet and receive real-time bookings. You can organize your products, customize your booking website, accept payments, track and respond to bookings, and keep track of your customer information, all in one simple to use system.
In addition, Rezgo gives you the ability to place “Book Now” buttons on any website that can drive customers to your tours and activities. Through our list of growing sales partners we also make your tours and activities available to travelers all over the World.
Do I need to install anything to run Rezgo?
No. Rezgo is completely online which means you can use the application from any computer that can access the Internet. All you need is a browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer and you’re good to go. You can even access Rezgo using some mobile phones.
What do I need to get started?
You should have your product information handy. If you want to accept payments via Paypal, you can click here to sign-up for an account and start receiving online payments right away.
What kinds of products does Rezgo support?
Rezgo supports a variety of tour and activity related products including:
- Scheduled tours that have a specific number of available seats.
- Daily activity tours that have a different starting time.
Some of current members include companies that provide: Guided City Tours, Walking Tours, Whale Watching Tours, Bicycle Tours, Helicopter Tours, Aerial Tours, Adventure Tours, Boat Tours, Hop-on Hop-off Tours, and more.
Should I hire a designer to design my booking site?
We provide you with templates that have been specifically designed to work with Rezgo. You can change the look of your website at anytime by choosing a new template from the template gallery or, if you know HTML, you can customize the template yourself.
Can I make Rezgo look like my website?
Absolutely. Your Rezgo booking website can be totally co-branded so that it matches your existing website. To co-brand your website you will need to know HTML. If you are not familiar with HTML we recommend you talk to your web designer to help you or you can contact us about our support packages.
Can I have my own domain name for my Rezgo booking site?
Yes. You can point any domain name to your existing booking website. For example if you own the domain name MYTOURCO.COM, you could ask your domain registrar or web host to point a sub-domain directly to your booking website, for example BOOKINGS.MYTOURCO.COM. This feature is available as part of the Rezgo Pro Package.
Are my bookings secure?
Yes. The Rezgo booking form is secured with a 128 bit SSL certificate which encrypts all the information transmitted to and from the Rezgo servers during the booking process.
Can I accept credit cards for bookings?
Yes. If you already process credit cards using the telephone or a terminal, you can receive credit card information through your booking website and process the payments manually. If you are using one of the Rezgo supported payment gateways, you can process credit card payments online. If you do not have a payment gateway and would like to accept payments online, we recommend you use Paypal. Payment gateway support is available with our Rezgo Pro Package.
Can I accept Paypal for bookings?
Yes. Rezgo supports the Paypals IPN and Paypal WebPayments Express system which allows you to accept Paypal payments on your booking website. If a customer chooses to pay with Paypal, they will be required to make payment before their booking is confirmed. If you do not accept credit card payments online, we recommend you use Paypal.
What is a merchant account?
A merchant account is a type of “bank account” set up with a payment gateway for the settlement of credit card transactions. Any merchant who wants to take credit card orders must establish a merchant account. If you don’t want to use a merchant account, you can use Paypal instead as it allows you to process credit card payments without a merchant account.
How do I sign up for a merchant account?
Rezgo supports several merchant account providers. For more information and to sign-up for a merchant account, please visit the merchant provider’s website. Please note: Travel falls into a high-risk classification and as a result you may have difficulty obtaining a merchant account for your business. If this is the case, we recommend you use Paypal as a way of handling your online payments.
What payment gateways can I use with Rezgo.com?
Rezgo currently works with several popular payment gateways including Authorize.net, iTransact, Moneris, Ogone, Paypal, Paymentech, and PPI.
Do you provide technical support for payment gateways?
No. When you set-up your merchant account the technical contact at your merchant account provider will be able to provide you with the details you need.
How much does Rezgo cost?
Nothing. Zip. Zilcho. Nada. Rezgo is Free. So just do it.
Rezgo is commission free? What’s the catch?
You will never pay for bookings made directly to your customers through your Rezgo.com booking website. We only charge you a 5% transaction fee if we facilitate a booking through one of our growing list of distribution partners. In order to receive bookings from distribution partners, you must have a credit card on file with Rezgo.com.
What payment methods does Rezgo accept?
We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard. Because of the automated nature of our transaction fee mechanism, we cannot make any exceptions.
Can I cancel my account?
Sure, but It’s free, so why would you need to cancel? Seriously though, if you need to cancel your account and remove all your data from our system, please contact us directly and we can take care of this for you.
