Accepting Credit Cards with Rezgo Just Got Easier
Rezgo now supports PayPal Website Payment Pro, which means you can now accept credit cards directly on your website instead of having to direct customers to the Paypal site to complete payment. The PayPal Website Payment Pro also provides you with a Virtual Terminal so you can process credit card payments manually (i.e. phone, fax, or email). By integrating Website Payment Pro, suppliers now have the ability to automatically charge customer credit cards for both deposits and incremental payments using the back-end processing feature.
Given the challenges that many travel related businesses face in applying and getting approved for traditional credit card merchant accounts, PayPal Website Payments Pro is a good alternative which still allows the tour operator to receive on-line payments but with the added credibility of processing payments through their own secured website. PayPal Website Payments Pro is available to businesses in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
To add Website Payment Pro, you need to sign-up for a PayPal account and activate Website Payment Pro. You can find out more about Website Payment Pro on the Paypal site.
Before you can use Website Payment Pro with Rezgo, you must grant API access to your PayPal account to Rezgo. For more information on how to set up API access, please take a look at this support article.
