Rezgo.com Free is now Live!

Loading ...We are really excited to announce that the release on June 9th has now been completed successfully and the new Rezgo.com features are live. The most significant update to Rezgo.com is that the booking engine is FREE for members to use. There is no longer a 30 day trial period or a mandatory subscription plan or per booking fees. Before we share some of the new features with you, here are some important changes that you need to be aware of:
- Current Free and Trial members (which have been changed to Free) must activate (Turn on) their booking websites before they can receive bookings online.
- The pay by Paypal functionality has been changed to support real-time bookings. Customers will have 10 minutes to pay for their booking before the booking expires. This prevents the possibility of a customer booking multiple seats without paying. This is particularly useful if your inventory is time sensitive.
- Custom domain name support is now a feature of Rezgo Pro. If you would like to enable your custom domain name, you will need to upgrade to a Rezgo Pro membership.*
- Support for merchant payment gateways other than Paypal is a feature of Rezgo Pro. If you would like to use a merchant payment gateway, such as Paymentech, Authorize.net, iTransact, PPI Paymover, Ogone, or Moneris, you will need to upgrade to a Rezgo Pro membership.*
* Current Paid members can choose to upgrade to Rezgo Pro at their current subscription rate until September of 2008.
New Rezgo.com Features
Rezgo.com is a great way to get your tour or activity business online and e-commerce enabled in no time. With Rezgo.com you can accept secure bookings online. Join Rezgo.com, add your tours and activities, and create a book now button. Rezgo.com even supports real-time online payments using PayPal or credit card capture. Here are just some of the features that are now part of the Free Rezgo.com membership:

Turn OnAll Rezgo.com members will have the option to ‘turn off’ or ‘turn on’ their Rezgo.com booking website. This is the website that your customers use when booking one of your tours or activities. This feature lets you make changes to your site without making your website public. Important Note: Current Rezgo Free & Trial members must turn on their Rezgo Sites before they can begin accepting bookings online. |

Trash BinRezgo.com has added booking security that prevents bookings from being accidentally deleted. Now all deleted bookings are placed in a trash bin that holds bookings for 30 days after the booking is deleted. If you have accidentally deleted a booking, you can always restore it from your trash bin. |

Booking HistoryRezgo.com now gives members access to the booking history. This will show all of the transaction history for an item, if items were added, who made the changes and when the changes were made. |

Button CreatorWe have added a dynamic ‘book now’ and ‘reserve’ button creator that will generate buttons to link directly to your tours and activities. You can choose the colour, shape and message for your button. |

Common Sense NamesWe had a lot of feedback regarding the naming structure for inventory items. In an effort to simplify your experience with Rezgo.com, we have renamed the inventory items using common sense names. Now you create a new ‘tour’ instead of a ‘group’. Under the ‘tour’ you create an ‘option’ instead of an ‘item’. This should help to clarify the structure of using Rezgo to sell your inventory. |

RenamedWe have also renamed some folders in the bookings menu. When you receive a booking that is pre-paid, it used to go to the ‘open bookings’ folder. We have renamed this folder to the ‘payment received folder’. You can still add any number of folders to help to keep your bookings organized. |
Rezgo Pro
In addition to the free Rezgo.com features, we have also created a new Rezgo Pro membership which offers more robust features for companies that need more sophisticated functionality. The Rezgo Pro membership is available for $149.95 USD/month and offers the following features:

Point Of SaleThe new point of sale interface allows you and your booking staff to make bookings directly in the Rezgo Administration system. This is perfect for call centers and front desk booking staff. |

Add Additional Invoice ItemsYou can now manage your bookings and add additional invoice line items on the fly. This lets you customize an itinerary or add additional products directly to a booking. You can attach notes, payment amounts, and payment types. You can also record payment transactions in order to reconcile bookings. Payments are recorded in a booking transaction log for easy reference. |

Multiple AdministratorsRezgo.com now supports multiple company administrators with specific access. There are a total of 5 access levels that you can use to manage your administrators, booking staff, and product managers. |

Free Webinars
In an effort to show new and existing members the new functionality of Rezgo and Rezgo Pro we are launching a series of weekly webinars. These workshops will include a half-hour overview of the features of Rezgo and a half-hour Q&A session. We are updating our documentation to include recent functionality enhancements with Rezgo Pro and Free. This is an ongoing process and will be rolled out over the next few months.
