Booking Confirmations now support barcodes
Booking confirmations and emails now support Code 3 of 9 bar coding. All printable confirmation and html email messages will have a bar code of the transaction number embedded in the page. In order to use the bar code, tour operators should download daily bookings in CSV format and import them into whatever bar code application they are using. When scanning the bar code, the tour operator can check the bar code transaction number against the database for verification purposes. Here is an example of the bar code. Update Your "About Us" Info
Please make sure that you update your About Us and Address information in your Company Profile. This can be done by going to Control Panel > Company Profile and editing the About Us text area and your company address information. The About Us information is used to populate your listing on TourismCompanies.com as well as your About Us page on your Booking Server website. The more information you provide in your About Us, the more likely your potential customers will book with you. We have just completed testing on Tourismcompanies.com and we are happy to report that all the functionality seems to be working as intended. The site is a directory of all companies in the Booking Server; Free, Trial, and Paid. Each company has a unique address as well as a listing under both classification and region. New subscription management form
The subscription information form in the Control Panel has been completely redesigned to make it easier to manage your modules and monthly subscription levels. When you add a new module in the middle of the month you have the choice of either paying the upgraded rate at your next subscription renewal or you can pay the “Activate Now” price which is a pro-rated amount.
