Ask all the questions you need by using Custom Forms
We have just released the custom forms feature in the Booking Server. Here is a quick synopsis of how it works.
1. In the control panel, you should see a tab in the left side bar called “Custom Forms”. This is where you create all the special questions you will ask. Remember, this is a library of ALL questions, so all the questions for all your products would be stored here.
2. Once you create a question, you can attach it to a product in the “Inventory Detail” view. To do this, click on Inventory and then choose an item in the left side bar. Scroll down the page until you see “Booking Forms”. Click on
to add a question to the booking form for this product.
3. Choose a question from the list in the popup and choose whether you want the question asked with each passenger or with just the primary passenger.
Once you have added the question, it will appear in the booking engine on the booking form during the payment process. The information that you ask with the question will be stored with the booking. It is important to note that if you change the label of a question, it will change across all products that are associated with the question. In this way, you can update your questions across all products very quickly without having to change them one at a time for each product.
