We have updated the category management system in the accommodations module. We have replaced the multi-tiered categorization with a property manager. The system now allows you to add seperate properties with detailed descriptions, driving directions, area amenities, and more. When adding rooms, you can now assign the room to a specific property. Your customers will now have the ability to search for availability in a specific hotel or, if they click on the property for more information, they can check for availability for a specific room.
We have added more fields to the property manager which allows you to add details for the property, area amenities, driving directions, and more. You can also upload a large image of the hotel and a thumbnail will automatically be generated.
This is a view of the property details in the administration system.
Details will show with your property on the front-end. This is a great way to add relevant search engine content for your property. You can even add links to external sites or post images from your existing website or from within the system.
